Parking Information

Parking at this venue is free to all participants, guests and spectators.  Please follow signs in parking lot that will direct you to designated areas (trailer and bus parking).

Load In/Out Instructions for Teams

All teams must report to lot 5 when arriving at Columbus State University. You will be issued a number in the order you arrive. We do not encourage anyone to arrive before 4:30pm, when we will have an attendant in the lot to issue numbers. We have a system worked out that will allow multiple teams to load in a the same time to expedite the process. This will not work if you do not follow the rules. THIS IS A MUST!

Concessions and Food Options

Country’s is providing concessions in Lumpkin. Cafeteria is Open regular hours on Thursday and Friday. Subway and ChickfilA will be open from 11am- 2pm on Saturday.

No outside food or drink will be permitted in this venue.

What to Bring to the Event

  1. Your robot.
  2. Your lock-up form (do not put this in the bag when you seal it during your extra 6 hours of work).
  3. Your team roster.
  4. Your Consent and Release form from GeorgiaFIRST unless this is your second event and you have already turned them ALL in.
  5. Items to set up your pit and support your robot during the competition.
  6. Safety glasses for everyone on your team.
  7. Shoes that are closed toed. No sandals allowed in the pits or near the field.  Make sure your visitors know this.
  8. Extention cords and power strips for your pit.
  9. Your team fact sheet to give to the Game Announcer.
  10. Your team spirit and gracious professionalism.
