Parking Information

Parking for this Event: Parking for vehicles ($5/day or $10/3 days. Can be purchased on site)
Parking for Buses, Trailers, Charter Buses ($10/day. Can be purchased on site)
You can leave your trailer in this lot as part of the $10/day fee.
Follow signage on site for parking.

Load In/Out Instructions for Teams

Load-In, Wednesday(3rd): 6:00pm-8:00pm (5 team member limit)
Load-In, Thursday(4th):  8:00am
Load-Out, Saturday(6th): Teams may begin to load out after lunch on Saturday. The official load-out will begin at the conclusion of the awards ceremony.

Concessions and Food Options

Concession will be for sale at the Lake Point Center.  Box Meal options will be available through on-site venue concessions – see venue concessions early Thursday to place your order.  NO OUTSIDE FOOD IS PERMITTED IN THIS VENUE.

Team Social – NEED RVSP: GeorgiaFIRST will host a team social on Friday, April 5th at the conclusion of the days qualifiers (7:00pm). The team social will be in the venue and will be no cost to teams. We will need your commitment of attendance for the food order. Please confirm your teams attendance at the Social HERE. Sign up closes by end of day Wednesday Apr. 3rd noon.
GeorgiaFIRST Girls Event – Networking 101 – Thursday(4th), 9:00AM-11:30AM****NEED RSVP:  Come out and find out for yourself why it is important to become an effective net-worker while still in high school.  Our speaker is Ricky Steele, Chief Executive Officer of Steele Technology Partners, the ultimate Rainmaker and networking guru. Please see the attached flyer for more details about this amazing event for the girls and women mentors on your team. Reservations are required. The event is capped at 120 people and is first come first served. Please confirm your teams attendance for the Girls event HERE. Sign up closes at NOON on Wednesday Apr. 3rd.

What to Bring to the Event

  1. Your robot.
  2. Your lock-up form.
  3. Your team roster.
  4. Your Consent and Release forms. Your team members will sign these on-line.  You will bring a printout that confirms this.  For those associated with your team that have not signed on-line, please print, sign and bring to your first competition of the season.  FIRST Consent and Release Form & Georgia FIRST Consent and Release Form (Will be updated soon)
  5. Items to set up your pit and support your robot during the competition. Pits are 10′ x 10′.
  6. Safety glasses for everyone on your team.
  7. Shoes that are closed toed. No sandals allowed in the pits or near the field.  Make sure your visitors know this.
  8. Extension cords and power strips for your pit.
  9. Your team fact sheet to give to the Game Announcer.
  10. Your team spirit and gracious professionalism.
  11. A ‘verbal thank-you’ for the volunteers when you see them at the events. They are working long hours to make this event happen.
