Turner Voices Internships

Turner recognizes the exceptional work your organization does to build future leaders in our community and would like to invite your members to apply for our Summer 2013 Turner Voices paid summer internship program, where they will have an opportunity for exposure to various departments within the News, Media and Entertainment Industries.

The deadline for students to apply is March 31st. Metro Atlanta students only.

WiredCats' Internship Linking Service

Internship Linking Service, or ILS, is a program developed by the WireCats to let FIRST Robotics Teams in the greater Atlanta area access unique opportunities to experience careers in engineering in the form of paid summer internships.

SWE Spring High School Outreach Event

This semester Society of Women Engineers at Georgia Tech will be hosting our high school outreach program for girls on Saturday April 13th from 9:00 am-2:00pm. The event is for girls who are interested in science, math, or engineering and introduces them to engineering with fun hands on activities from various engineering disciplines. The girls will have the opportunity to meet with girls currently studying engineering at Georgia Tech, and will be able to ask them questions about college and engineering.

The program is open to any high school girl, the registration cost is $10/ attendee, and you can register here.

GE Sponsored Teams Demo at Atlanta Dream

GE Sponsored teams were given an opportunity to bring the bots to an Atlanta Dream Women's Basketball game. A demo area was set up on the concourse, with hundreds of people stopping by to ask questions and drive the bots. The teams were also brought out on to the court during half time for an introduction.
