DE Centers

The GeorgiaFIRST DE centers are ready to host your FIRST Robotics team. The FRC fields have been modified for this years competition game – CRESCENDO! Thank you to our volunteers and partners who put in the hard work to modify the fields. You are our heroes!

What is DE?

DE is one of Georgia’s unique programs which is all about helping teams on their journey to the Championship Field.  The program features four FRC playing fields throughout the state with complete sets of field elements; these fields are available for all teams to use.
GeorgiaFIRST, Kimberly Clark, and Walton Robotics Team 2974 created the program in 2012.  It was so successful that it expanded to four facilities as of 2017, with locations in Marietta, Atlanta, Columbus, and Albany.
Teams from all over Georgia are invited to test their robots on FRC competition fields, provide and receive technical training in conjunction with other teams, and network with other students and coaches in the FIRST community!

Mission Accomplished!

The original mission of DE was to get a GA team to play on the championship field. In 2017 we crushed that mission, with four teams advancing to the championship field, and one advancing to the finals on the Houston Championship field!

Congratulations to:

  • 4910 East Cobb Robotics – Advanced to semi-finals!

  • 2415 Wired Cats – Advanced to semi-finals!

  • 4112 Eagle Bots – Advanced to semi-finals!

  • 4188 Columbus Space Program – Advanced to the finals!
