Competitive events for all ages

Within FIRST, there are different levels corresponding to different ages, so there is a competitive challenge for every student. Each level as its own unique competitive challenge that changes every year and teaches students about problem solving, critical thinking, leadership and more. Learn more about the different levels here to discover the best program for you.

Ages: 4 - 16

FLL Georgia is currently run by Georgia Tech. Visit their site for more information. The season typically runs from August to February.

Hosted by FIRST®, FIRST Championship is a culminating, international event for our youth robotics competition season and an annual celebration of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) for our community as we prepare young people for the future. Qualification and advancement to participate in FIRST Championship varies by program.

The Georgia Robotics Invitational Tournament and Showcase (GRITS) is an amazing event designed to give FRC teams an additional opportunity to compete with the 2023 Season’s game, CHARGED UP. It is also a great place to bring your new rookie team members to give them the true experience of competition.

SCRIW 2023

Teams 1293 (Pandamaniacs) and 2815 (Blue Devil Mechanics) invite you to join us for the twelfth annual South Carolina Robotics Invitational and Workshops! SCRIW is a one-day competition, and one of your final opportunities to play CHARGED UP presented by Haas on an official competition field. Teams come from hours away to introduce their new students to the FIRST experience, try out new robot upgrades, learn new things, and have some more fun with their robots!

Hear from your colleagues, experts in the field of robotics (the FRC and FTC programs in Georgia!), and take tours of the amazing Engineering Labs at Kennesaw State University. This one-day event will be conference style with multiple sessions held throughout the day. This event is free to all participants and is open to all active and prospective FIRST teams in Georgia, South Carolina and anyone else seeking to learn more about our programs.

GeorgiaFIRST Robotics is honored to partner with Procter & Gamble to host our Peachtree District Qualifier in Albany, Georgia. This longstanding location is made possible by dedicated partners, sponsors and volunteers who give their time, talent and resources to FIRST. We invite you to join us Friday, March 3 and Saturday, March 4 as FIRST Robotics Competition teams from the Peachtree District enter the field to test their engineering marvels. Who will walk away with the top awards at the Peachtree District Qualifier in Albany? Join us to see!
