Who: All FIRST® Robotics Competition Teams, Coaches & Mentors & FIRST® Tech Challenge Teams, Coaches & Mentors
Presenters Wanted
We are currently seeking presenters that will address subject areas in both the technical and non-technical areas of FIRST. Teams are invited to submit their proposed presentation outlines per the instructions given below. We will also be inviting additional presenters from our corporate and university partners and the Georgia FIRST Leadership team.

Robot Design, including topics in mechanical, electrical, and 3D modeling and printing.

Advocacy of FIRST, diversity and inclusion, etc.

To be considered, please submit your presentation outline by clicking here and filling out the Google form with info about your program. Please provide a brief rationale for the need and expertise your presentation brings to this subject area.
All submissions are due by 11:59 PM, Friday, September 1, 2023. You will be notified if your presentation is selected for the symposium upon review of your submission. All sessions will be presented in person.

Event Details:
Hear from your colleagues, experts in the field of robotics (the FRC and FTC programs in Georgia!), and take tours of the amazing Engineering Labs at Kennesaw State University. This one-day event will be conference style with multiple sessions held throughout the day. This event is free to all participants and is open to all active and prospective FIRST teams in Georgia, South Carolina and anyone else seeking to learn more about our programs.
Event Registration:
Before you register for the event, please take a look at the session titles, descriptions and time. This will help you plan your day. You should register for the event via Eventbrite. We encourage individual registration to best accommodate attendee’s session selections. Space is limited in each session, therefore an accurate accounting of participants is necessary in order to allow as many people as possible to attend. Additional sessions may be added before the event.

Parking:
Free parking for the Symposium event will be available at the parking deck adjacent to the Engineering Technology Building, marked as the Deck P60 on the campus map. After parking, please enter the Engineering Building and take the elevator to 2nd floor. You will check-in here.
Who Can Attend This Event?:
Any registered GeorgiaFIRST team (FTC, FRC), FIRST in South Carolina FRC teams, or anyone who is curious about our programs. Each sessions ‘intended audience’ is indicated at the bottom of each session description.
Is There a Cost to Attend?
The GeorgiaFIRST Symposium Event is free to all participants. Your only cost at the event will be lunch – which is on your own. Pre-Registration is required to attend this event.
