FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) Coaches and Mentors,
Welcome to the Mentor Advisory Council (MAC)! GeorgiaFIRST will host once per month “MAC Meetings” via Zoom to serve as a local information channel and a way for our Peachtree District (PCH) mentors/coaches to collaborate with each other on important topics.
Our first MAC meeting will be held in-person at Symposium on September 21, 2024.
Our monthly MAC calls will be scheduled for a one-hour timeframe. Each call will begin with District updates. The remainder of the hour will be filled with lively discussion from you, our team leadership.
2024-25 Season Online MAC Meeting dates are set for the SECOND Thursday of every month, beginning October 10th, from 7:00-8:00pm. Call-in information will be posted here and sent to you via the Peach Press eBlast.
How can you help facilitate a MAC Meeting topic?
Sign up to be MAC call facilitator. Facilitators will choose a topic of interest to present to the group for discussion, feedback, best practices and collaboration. This is not a time for power point presentations. We envision these calls to be conversational and beneficial. You are the “boots on the ground” that know the ins and outs of running a team. Through collaboration we can help solve issues, clarify processes and support each other as a whole.
Participate in the monthly MAC calls. Simple! Just join the call to offer your input or listen for helpful hints.
