Novelis Partnership Program

GeorgiaFIRST and the FRC Peachtree District (PCH) are fortunate to have strong partnerships with organizations that are helping to foster creativity and enhanced robot fabrication methods.

These partnerships are providing materials, and manufacturing support for all FRC teams in the Peachtree District (PCH), and all Georgia FTC teams.

Novelis Aluminum/Material Partnership:

The material is aluminum, 5xxx series, heat treatable, and cold formable.
The size of the donated material is:

0.063 (actual gauge 0.061) 60″ length 60″ width
0.090 (actual gauge 0.084) 60″ length 60″ width
0.125 (actual gauge 0.122) 30″ length 60″ width

There is no charge to teams for the material. Material is located at our Alpharetta warehouse. You’ll need to bring a truck, several people who can lift heavy things, and gloves to protect from sharp edges.
