2026-2027 Google Grant for FIRST Tech Challenge Teams
Georgia FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC), with support from Google, is offering the final year of the Google Team Support Grant to FIRST Tech Challenge teams for the 2026-2027 competition season. Google's priority with this funding is to reduce barriers and increase participation in the FIRST Tech Challenge among middle school-aged students who are under-resourced or have traditionally been underrepresented in STEM.
The Grant is open to Rookie and Veteran teams that have middle-school-age students on their teams and meet one of several other criteria. The grant is also a great way for former FIRST LEGO League teams to transition to the FIRST Tech Challenge program.
New for this season, as a part of this grant, is the opportunity for VEX teams to transition from the VEX V5RC competition to the FIRST Tech Challenge.
2026 XRP Summer Robotics Camps
The XRP robotics camp is a summer program that allows student campers to explore and develop their coding skills. Participants use the XRP robotics platform to program their own robots to navigate unpredictable environments. The camp seeks to engage middle school-age students by developing their block-based coding skills while learning Python. Through engaging missions, students gain STEM skills while working as a team.
